Frequently asked questions
What does bookkeeping with you cost?
Monthly packages are priced on the volume and complexity of your books, not by the hour, so you know the amount before the month starts. Most incorporated clients land in a predictable monthly range, and we quote it after a short conversation about your transactions, payroll, and filings.
What is the difference between bookkeeping and a Diagnostic Review?
Bookkeeping is the ongoing monthly work that keeps your financial records accurate, reconciled, and up to date. New monthly bookkeeping clients begin with a Diagnostic Review. It gives us a detailed look at your existing books so we can identify what is accurate, what needs attention, and what ongoing bookkeeping will require before recommending the appropriate service.
Do you work with businesses outside Burnaby?
Yes. We are a virtual firm, so we work with incorporated businesses across British Columbia and the rest of Canada. Everything happens over secure file sharing, email, and scheduled video calls.
Do you file my corporate tax return?
We prepare year-end ready books and work directly with your accountant, who files the T2. If you do not have an accountant yet, we can point you to ones we work with regularly.
My books are behind. Is that a problem?
It is common and it is fixable. Catch-up work is quoted separately from your monthly package so the cost is clear up front, and we handle the backlog before moving you onto a regular schedule.
